Yes. Most of our customers come to us because they’ve fitted a long-range tank and the spare had to come off the underbody. The Wheel Holder takes a 31–35" replacement and locks with a padlock.
The pass-through hitch slides into the standard 50mm receiver and extends rearward by ~250mm. ADR compliant, 3.5T rated. The OEM bar stays where it is — nothing comes off.
Deduct the loaded rack weight from your towball capacity. Most cars are rated to ~350kg towball. A loaded rack is ~105kg, leaving ~245kg for the caravan tongue.
Tow with heavy gear on the trailer, transfer to the rack at camp. Swing arm doesn’t open with a trailer hitched — the 1.4m arm hits.
So the bar will potentially block your rear sensors, but we do have a camera and rear sensor attachment that can be purchased separately.
System rating is 150kg total to account for off-road forces. Heavy gear (spare, jerries, full cargo box) goes low and close to the pivot. If a single cargo carrier goes over 50kg, run a strap over the top and anchor high.
Yes. Ten minutes in the driveway. Slide hitch into the receiver, insert the internal pinch block, tighten the M16 locking bolt, attach the rack. The only tool you need is a spanner for the M16.

I wanted a proper rear bar setup for the 200 without cutting the bumper. Spent months looking. Couldn’t find one I liked.
So I built a swing-away that slides into the hitch. Ten minutes on. Ten minutes off. Holds 150kg, keeps the towing, and comes off Sunday night so the daily driver goes back to normal.
If you’re running a permanent touring build, a full welded rear bar might suit you better. If your 200 still does the school run, come have a look.
