The Novaa Base Station is excellent, solid and worth every dollar. The build quality is second to none. Very happy with the product and I would recommend it to anyone. Building the Base Station took a bit of time but fun, with clear instructions provided.

I needed a solution to get weight from my roof down nearer the ground for a trip to northern Western Australia. 60kgs of fuel and 40kgs of tyre. The Base station ticked all the boxes and proved a valuable piece of kit while doing our gruelling 2500km trek. It withstood some horrendous corrugations and took some heavy blows when driving through gnarly washouts. It didn't miss a beat and while I have passed on some potential small mods to help improve the beast (and Locklan is all over this stuff), in its current form, this is a valuable piece of equipment in my off-roading adventures. Fantastic gear. Extremely easy to install or remove. I now have additional storage for my 2 cars and can mount it too the back of a caravan with hitch receiver. Extremely strong, holding 150kg, great quality bushings, Teflon and stainless components. I can’t wait to get the bike racks to fit on now!

I have a VW T5 that has been converted into a campervan for myself and two puppies to travel in. As an older lady I always worried about getting a flat tyre as I don’t think I would have been able to access spare under van and was looking for a viable solution when I found Novvaa. The base station was perfect for my needs- tyre accessible and storage for the puppies pram as well. Locklan’s customer service was amazing and I even managed to assemble and install on my own. Cannot recommend this company highly enough.

I’d refer everyone to this business, so so helpful. Did so much to help me organise and choose set up. Didn’t matter what questions were asked, I always got an answer. Delivery was great too. Explaining everything. Used it for the first camping with my 2 springers at the weekend. Made my camping trip so much easier being able to put dogs fencing in it and other containers. Had so much more room in my car. I can’t thank Locky enough for all the help and instructions given 😁😁😁 I did take table off as it blocked my back vision in pic. Otherwise can see perfectly out the back.

Best swing bar in the business! Love having the extra storage for the kids and being able to keep gas, jerry cans, camping toilets etc outside of the car! Also having the options to add even more extras like a drop down table for a quick beach bbq is the cherry on top!

A fantastic product. Extremely well built, welds are spot on, powder coating is very durable and the bushings, latches and locking mechanisms are strong as! I have taken mine up 600kms of corrugated roads and over 12,000kms in total. It’s just as good as the first day I got! The drop down table is a must!

Absolutely love my base station set up. It’s on my Toyota Hiace, that’s set up as a camper. Holds 30l of water and all stuff for adventures. I’ll continue adding more to it..

Best set up I have seen and purchased, if your after an easy dyi set up without having to go through the whole drama of having a rear bar installed this is the one for you. When your not using it you can easily detach from your 4wd and store away till your next camping trip, its light and can hold a ton of numerous items from jerry cans to storage boxes and having extra add ons like bike racks and water containers makes this a very handy set up to have. I love my rear bar set up because it has the capability to carry x3 20ltr jerry cans or storage boxs plus a saper tyre up to 35" wheel and a 18ltr water container attached, but the best thing i love about my rear bar set up is the drop down bench that can hold a dual burner plate with a slide out table underneath it. So if your in the market for well versed rear bar set up that can carry more that you can think off dont go past Novaa Gears rear bar set up. Well worth the purchase.

The Novaa base station is a great piece of kit for my outback travel. I can now carry enough water and fuel to get me anywhere. This station is so portable I can take it off when I am back home doing shorter trips without having the weight and expense of a permanent heavy rear bar.
